Saturday 'Stache: Dylan Efron

Imagine looking like Zac Efron and still being the "homely" brother.
DM fleshes out Dylan Efron's rise to fame here:
Zac Efron has seen his heartthrob status eclipsed by that of his own brother, after Dylan Efron soared to fame on the latest series of the "The Traitors" U.S.
Dylan, 33, is an influencer and production coordinator, who has worked on big films like "Ready Player One," "The Accountant" and "American Sniper."
His brother, 37, found global success with the "High School Musical" films, before starring in the likes of "17 Again," "The Paper Boy," "Neighbors," "The Greatest Showman" and "The Iron Claw."
But after starring on -- and going onto win -- the third season of the hit TV series "The Traitors," Dylan has threatened to overshadow his movie star sibling's popularity with his rapidly growing fanbase.
Thanks to his incredibly chiseled physique, natural charm and remarkable resemblance to Zac, he now boasts an impressive 1.1million followers on Instagram.
While his latest photoshoot and interview with Antoni Porowski of "Queer Eye" for Paper magazine, left fans going wild and declaring him their "favorite" Efron as they praised their "ridiculous genetics."
Reacting to the sizzling snaps of the two handsome men, fans gushed: "The month the world said 'Zac? You mean Dylan Efron’s brother?'"
"Thanking the Efron parents, everyday"; "I really cannot with my mammoth new crush on this man"; "Lord plz make more of this kind of man."
"How quickly the recognition of the name Efron went from your brother to the literal sweetest human in America! Will always think of you now when I hear it."
"I’m gonna need to see a photo of your parents because these Efron genetics are ridiculous."; "He needs to be 'The Bachelor.'"
"Good genes in the Efron family"; "Can we just give the Efron parents a round of applause?? Goodness."
"Dylan needs to be on every reality show that exists. 'Survivor.' 'Big Brother.' 'Special Forces.' 'Real Housewives.' 'Vanderpump.' Hell get him on 'The White Lotus'!"
"dylan becoming my favorite efron brother was not on my bingo card for 2025 but here we are and i love it."
In the accompanying interview, Dylan reflected on his sudden upswing in fame after his stint on "The Traitors," as he said he had been prepared by watching Zac.
He said: "It’s still very new, so I haven’t felt much change. When I’m home, when I’m going to the gym, I’m not dressed up.
"There are moments when I’m grocery shopping, you know, with my headphones in and someone is asking for my photo. I’m like, 'Oh s**t, I’m in Trader Joe’s right now.' But genuinely I don’t feel much has changed, and I’m thankful for that."
"I grew up with it a bit, watching my brother, too. I’ve been able to learn from him a lot. It’s tough of course, saying no to a photo, it’s disappointing to a fan. But we can’t be giving ourselves 24/7.
"My favorite is when someone says, 'I don’t really know who you are or what you do, but my friend does, so...'"
Zac previously voiced his praise for his younger brother and predicted that he would win and beat all of his co-stars in the competitive reality series.
In June, the actor gushed to "Entertainment Tonight": "I think he's going to win. He's really good at games, and I just have a good feeling about it."
He also added that Dylan has always had luck on his side when it comes to gambling and games, saying: "He is just the best at games. Growing up, he was a first-roll-[at-Yahtzee]-kind-of-dude.
"If I was him, I would move to Vegas and just play games. He's that good, so I got high hopes for him."
Dylan appeared on the Peacock series alongside the likes of Tom Sandoval, Chrishell Stause, Sam Asghari, Dorinda Medley and Bob the Drag Queen.
He and Zac have maintained a close relationship over the years, as well as with their younger half-sister (Olivia) and half-brother (Henry).
He has established his own career in Hollywood outside of his brother's famous shadow, serving as a physical production coordinator on several films including "American Sniper" and "The Accountant."
But unfortunately for fans crushing on the younger Efron brother, he recently revealed he is in a relationship.
Speaking on the "The Viall Files" podcast earlier this month, he confirmed: "I’m in a relationship. It’s cool because she’s actually not on social media and she works a 40-hour week job."
Dylan added that they met while growing up and are high-school sweethearts, saying: "We’re from the same town. It works out really well.
"It’s not, like, I’m hiding her from the world or anything. She understands the job, all the stuff. She doesn’t really like being on camera. She loves your guys’ podcast. I wouldn’t know about it [without her]. She’s the one who introduced me."
The reality star added that it was his girlfriend who encouraged him to go on "The Traitors," as she thought it would allow his personality to shine through.
He also was a producer on his big brother's 2020 Netflix series, "Down to Earth With Zac Efron," where Zac traveled across the globe to find the road to better health and a more eco-friendly mindset.
While the "Hairspray" star has proven to be a fine actor in his own right, Dylan has demonstrated more of a strength as a filmmaker.
He has also got a YouTube channel, where he creates videos of himself facing his fears and exploring the world with other intrepid explorers.
