Stumbled upon Luca Leggieri's short film "Fairlane" -- co-written with Valerie Betts -- on YouTube the other night and it was just what the doctor ordered.

Synopsis: 

New in town, Brandon starts working at an auto shop to support his single mother where he's trained by an experienced mechanic, Evan. The two spark up a whirlwind romance that takes an unexpected turn when a secret is revealed, throwing a wrench in their relationship.
