Consumer Product Safety Commission commissioner Richard Trumka Jr. -- whose father was a storied organized labor leader with the same name -- recently made headlines when he unwittingly triggered the war over gas stoves by having the audacity to point out how bad they are for people's lungs, particularly children. 

I, of course, was too busy cruising him to get the details.
