View this post on Instagram So Barney’s New York has filed chapter 11. If I’d known then what I know now I would have a several story townhouse full of anarchist Queers making art and love in every room instead of four dusty closets full of old Dries Van Noten, Lanvin, Hermés, Prada and Comme des Garçons. But it was New York in the ‘80’s and Beverly Hills in the ‘90’s and I was a little rock star trying to fill a chasm torn apart by trauma with pretty fancy things. I will try not to regret it though because my baby gays are gonna end up with some real classics when I’m gone. A post shared by Maria McKee (@thisismariamckee) on Aug 6, 2019 at 10:30pm PDT
