Woman sexually abused by subway rider took pic that cops are now using to track suspect
A quick-thinking straphanger targeted by a subway sicko on the D train managed to snap a picture of the suspect that police are now using to track him down.
The 27-year-old subway rider was heading south on the D line about 8 a.m. on Oct. 1 when a man got on at Columbus Circle and stood behind her, authorities said Monday.
Two stops later, at the Rockefeller Center station, the woman realized the man had masturbated on her clothes and backpack, police said.
The suspect didn't run off after he’d finished his business — instead taking a seat and staring straight ahead.
The crafty commuter snapped his photo, which police have now released.
The suspect is described by cops as Hispanic, about 25 years old and 190 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and black pants.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
