View this post on Instagram Happy Humpday! ❤️! Beautiful Wednesday morning here just having my coffee thinking of the beauty in the small things. It is hard to stay planted in one spot when you want the world. But what I have notice is that usually when I forget how bad I want “it” and just keep working regardless. Many opportunities will be at my door and since I still persevered it through I’ll have more then I ever wanted! Plus all the pride, struggle, joy and success that came along the way. That’s what builds the best character. • • • 📸 @jd.forman •#gingermodel #redheadedmen #redheadmodel #gingerhair #whitetee #jeansandtshirt #wednesdays #humpday🐫 #thoughtoftheday #wednesdaywisdom #morning #coffee #thinking #hopeful A post shared by Graysen Quinn Anderson (@graysenquinn) on Jun 27, 2018 at 8:51am PDT

View this post on Instagram When I was younger I used to see things that I would believe was “cool” and I looked up to these people. These people were partiers, drug users and even addicts I’m sure. But in the camaraderie it seemed like it was the hip thing, at least to me as a child. I grew up still believing these thing and also being an only child I didn’t have siblings to learn from and my parents were divorced and busy themselves trying to keep them and myself alive. So needles to say I ran amuck as I grew up smoking cigarettes, pot, and drinking alcohol. I had tried all of that by age 12. I was confused 🤷♂️ and I wanted to fit in. I became a bully as I grew up and there’s still people today I’d apologize to and will. What I’m getting at is that the harder I tried to fit this idea of fun and cool into my life, I wasn’t paying much attention to what I actually was intrigued by. I kept trying to be that cool party guy who had all the friends and everyone liked basically. But inside I was missing something! Something very very important... CONFIDENCE! I followed what I saw I did what I saw and I was never self expressive unless I was mean to someone. It took me 25 years of life before I started to gain confidence and it all stems to my health. The more I cared for myself, the more people seemed to be drawn to me. Now that it’s been 5 years almost since I started this journey I realize that I had confidence all along but I was following in the foot steps of many people who didn’t. Once I stopped playing “chameleon” and started being Graysen I was finally at a state of happiness that I could embrace and I had love for people, empathy and just a general sense of what was right. Moral of my long ass story!! When you stop being something that really isn’t you.. You’ll find a treasure trove of information and understanding within yourself. BE YOURSELVES love yourselves and put out there your self confidence.
