Damian and I first spotted Croatian Nikola Mektic when he was playing doubles with countryman Franko Skugor at Wimbledon last year. (We lingered around the court more than once.) 

They ended up reaching the semifinals before losing to my other loves, Oliver Marach and Mate Pavic. 

Skugor isn't too hard on the eyes either -- and their mixed-height relationship -- 5-11 and 6-6, respectively
