Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation Marks 30th Anniversary

This year marks the 30th anniversary of The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. My mother began this journey long ago and today we can see the finish line in sight. As we all know, the last mile is the hardest. We have to get creative, pivot in our strategy and empower the next generation to let go of the past and own their future because it can be very bright. Thank you @EGPAF and all of our supporters and political rockstars on capital hill who listened to my mothers call to action and responded. They never wavered, and are ready to fight till we see the end of this epidemic. It warms my heart to see how far we’ve come and it is daunting and exciting to look at what we have to do to see it through. Here’s to you mom! Thank you for taking walks with me in the rain, teaching me to ski, being a field trip chaperone, boating in rafts, sailboats, and speedboats, taking me to Hawaii, camping with me, hiking with me, fishing with me, showing me my first binocular thing that you have to pay 25 cents to look through, showing me the ropes of the NYC subway, laughing with me, blueberry picking with me, making smores, snorkeling, and so much more. This life's adventure is pure awesomeness because of you. You showed me how to live, gave me experiences that have shaped who I am and given me the tools, armor, empathy, love, and radicalness to live the best life ever. I love you mama!
